For the eighth year in a row, Abdulaziz Ahmed Abdulaziz Humanitarian Foundation sponsored World Sight Day 2022, which was organized by the National Prevention of Blindness Committee (NPBC) on Thursday, October 13, 2022. World Sight Day is an annual event that aims to help raise awareness and support work to combat avoidable blindness, and educate society about eye health in line with the World Health Organization’s international action plan to prevent avoidable blindness and visual impairment.
The Foundation is as keen as ever in its support and sponsorship of World Sight Day each year, as it seeks to increase community awareness of eye diseases that cause visual impairments and methods of treatment and prevention, all while reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and human development.
